The British Motor Museum houses the world’s largest collection of historic British cars, featuring over 400 vehicles spanning the classic, vintage, and veteran eras.
Located in the village of Gaydon, Warwickshire, just off junction 12 of the M40, the Museum’s striking art deco building contrasts beautifully with the modern design of the Collections Centre. Set within 65 acres of landscaped grounds, the Museum seamlessly blends into the rolling Warwickshire countryside.
The collection, now exceeding 400 vehicles, traces its origins to the Leyland Historic Vehicles Trust. Over time, it has expanded to showcase models from across the British motor industry, including smaller manufacturers like Morgan, Lotus, and Reliant, alongside former mainstream brands such as Austin, Morris, Hillman, and Triumph.
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust collaborates with the heritage divisions of major carmakers like Ford, Jaguar, and Vauxhall, displaying some of their most iconic historic vehicles for visitors to admire.
